Abstract
The application of the chi-squared Pearson test in testing hypothesis of normality has been considered. Tables of percentage points and approximations of the limiting statistic distributions have been obtained. The power of the Pearson and Nikulin-Rao-Robson chi-squared tests has been estimated for various pairs of competing hypotheses. The comparative analysis of normality tests in terms of power has been presented.

Abstract
The two-position cirquit for measuring the geometric formfactor of fields of view of two receiving channels is suggested. The parameters of beam probing depth in scattering medium determined by overlaps of fields of view within it have been introduced. These parameters are indicators of the extinction coefficient and the geometry. The nephelometer mode is optimal for measuring. The use of the full set of indicators allows to estimate the accuracy of extinction coefficient measurement within the layer.

Abstract
The decrease of image distortion and the blur of images is the main requirement for optical measuring systems. The dependence of the distortions of images from the sizes of the lens determined with high accuracy allowed to reduce the objective size. The application of analytical assessment leads to decrease of image distortions by means of more accurate selection of the lens sizes and other optical circuit parameters.
TIME AND FREQUENCY MEASUREMENTS

Abstract
The theory of relativity is applied to analyze the impact of the Earth rotation irregularity on the frequency and time of high stability atomic clocks. The precession and nutation of Earth rotation axis, variation of absolute value of rotation velocity and angular momentum of the globe have been considered. It is shown that the relative shift of time and frequency caused by the above reason can exceed 5∙10-16.

Abstract
The problem of selection of parameters of inertance (density, size) of flare particles required for visualization and optical diagnostics of vortex flows has been considered. An expression for dynamic relaxation time determination for flare particles tracing the gas motion in vortices of different intensity was received. An example of particle parameters selection for visualization of laboratory-simulated air vortex funnel is described.

The problems of automation and noise immunity during measurements for restriction of diagnostics time are considered and solved. A software allowing to control the measurement modes and to carry out the noise characteristics studies and to find the noise informative parameters has been created.

Abstract
The dynamic characteristics of a miniature thermal conductivity sensor in comparison with the characteristics of a standard thermal conductivity sensor and a flame-ionization sensor are considered. Тhе dynamic characteristics were estimated by the time constant of the sensor. It was shown that this sensor has a high sensitivity and is also characterized by a small time constant. The use of such a detector in gas express analyzers and systems for high-speed chromatography is suggested.
