GENERAL PROBLEMS OF METROLOGY AND MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES

5-7 81
Abstract
A criterion of measuring transformation of wide-range instruments with the limiting error band normalized by a trinomial formula has been received. The criterion allows receives the generalized assessment of instrument accuracy and measurement range.

Abstract
The capillary methods are widely applied to control products made of non-magnetic, non-metallic, composite and other advanced materials, and in most cases these methods are considered to be the only available techniques. The article considers options for manufacturing non metallic check samples for penetrant testing in terms of several cracks performed on one and the same sample and corresponding to different classes of sensitivity. The basis was a non-metallic material, an epoxy adhesive, and the defects were made by etching foil. Such samples are easy to manufacture, the defects performed are of desired parameters. This increases the actual output of the final product, the material is not exposed to corrosion, and the quality of sample cleaning increases as they are practically transparent.

LINEAR AND ANGULAR MEASUREMENTS

11-13 84
Abstract
The results of development of a set of precise instruments for active control of accuracy of products manufacturing processing are presented. The operation principles of shafts and holes processing control instruments are described and characteristics are presented.

OPTICOPHYSICAL MEASUREMENTS

13-18 96
Abstract
The technique experimental - theoretical identifications and compensatings of static errors of phase coordinates of the elements optical encoder is offered. The developed technique is applied for a compensation of systematic errors of angular measurements which are carried out with the help of modern optical encoder.

Abstract
The nonuniform flow of objects analysis based on image processing is considered. The processed images are synthesized by the results of line-by-line scanning of illuminated flow in the optical sorting systems. The description of implemented hardware-software complex for objects flow analysis based on proposed image preliminary processing and recognition algorithms functioning simultaneously with the real-time separation process in combined mode is presented. The experimental results of proposed algorithms application by the example of grain mixture flow components analysis are described.

TIME AND FREQUENCY MEASUREMENTS

MECHANICAL MEASUREMENTS

Abstract
Results of computing experiment of determination of own frequencies of shifting jerks of a rotor shaft turbine units of thermal power plants are presented. It is shown that change of tortional ruggedness has impact the size of own frequencies of shifting jerks. Calculation of an error in measurement of ruggedness in the course of turbine unit functioning is presented.

Abstract
An ultrasonic flowmeter designed to measure the flow of viscous liquids with significant temperature dependend viscosity is presented. The article shows the results of modeling and numerical computation of three-dimensional viscous liquid flow in the flowmeter original measurement channel.

THERMOPHYSIC MEASUREMENTS

41-44 75
Abstract
The summary of thermocatalytic sensors development is presented. The questions connected with instability of sensors while in operation are considered. It is suggested with the aim of stability increase to use a limited access of analyte into the reaction chamber keeping particular conditions. The analysis of diffusion processes is carried out; recommendations on increase of measurements stability by several times are given.

RADIO MEASUREMENTS

45-48 98
Abstract
The diagram of a microwave radiometer on the basis of modification of a method of zero measurements with the high response characteristics which distinctive feature is use of one noise generator for formation of two calibrating quantities is described. It reduces an error of measurements from change of power output of a generating element and simplifies calibration process for radiometer setup on the given measurement range.

ACOUSTIC MEASUREMENTS

48-53 84
Abstract
The methods of the free-field realization at measurements in the pool with reflecting boundaries are considered. It is shown that the separation of these methods on themethodof measurement in a free field "by definition" and recalculation to a free field conditions is unfounded. The possibility to estimate the quality of free field conditions at calibration of acoustic receiver by the width of frequency band blurring and the time of reflections delay in the signal receiving point - has been shown.

Abstract
This article describes an approach to the measurement of the blood cell nuclei structural elements parameters used for recognition of blast cells in images of hematologic microscope mounts. The model for the description of optical characteristics of the blood cells nuclei is proposed. The model is based on qualitative characteristics used by physicians of clinical laboratory diagnostics for microscopic analysis of blood smears.

Abstract
A method of layerwise determination of hydrogen content in titanium at use of different frequency eddy currents is suggested. The procedure of using the specially manufactured certified reference material of the developed standard and the scheme of measurements for concrete technical situations is described.

Abstract
The artifacts analysis of existing measurement procedures in the fieled of oil hygrometry has been carried out. The need of development of the new generation of certified reference materials and measurement procedures taking into account different artifacts and accessible to average technical staff - is shown.

Abstract
The present state of metrological assurance in the field of measurements of saturated vapor pressure (SVP) of oil and oil products, including the problem of oil industry enterprises production quality control both at the stages of oil production, processing, transportation and storage, and possible prospects of this direction development - are considered.

Abstract
An algorithm of gradient system of multiphase flowmeter calculation based on the phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is presented. The designed system forms the gradient field with a given degree of nonlinearity (±1 %). That provides the required accuracy of multiphase flow parameters measurement.
