GENERAL PROBLEMS OF METROLOGY AND MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES

3-7 91
Abstract
The operational capability and efficiency of the preference aggregation method over sets of generated normally and uniformly distributed random data of interlaboratory comparisons versus traditional approaches are investigated.
8-11 60
Abstract
The methodological basics of test signals formation estimation of efficiency and accuracy characteristics of the information-measuring systems of seismic events monitoring are presented. The systems are carrying out the measurements of polarization parameters of seismic waves. The recommendations on selection of parameters in the test signals depending on the type of seismic wave phase are presented.

Abstract
The comparison of the basic the technical characteristics of domestic field seismological equipment is carried out. The stages of direct detection of linear, nonlinear-elastic and inelastic deformations in geological medium by means of field instrumentation for seismic microzoning are considered.
17-19 65
Abstract
The technique of stochastic forecasting of drift duration of technical objects parameters using geometrical and indicative laws of probability distribution is made. The application of this technique to an assessment of calibration interval duration of platinum resistance temperature indicators is considered.

LINEAR AND ANGULAR MEASUREMENTS

20-22 127
Abstract
The methods and equipment for the automated accuracy control of optical rotary encoders and the certain errors of control compensation method, are presented. The accuracy control methods are based on precision converters and conjugation devices. The improved stand allowing to increase the accuracy of rotary encoders calibration is presented.
22-25 67
Abstract
The raster grids application during creation of the precise digital photoelectric converters for modular and component measuring deflection heads of two and three- coordinate instruments for measuring the linear and angular displacement is considered. The extreme counting interpolation displacement measuring system is used as a measuring converters.

Abstract
Based on the strain data received by means of precision laser interferometers-strainmeters located in Northern Caucasus (Elbrus area) and in the Crimea (Sevastopol), the free oscillations of the Earth (FOS) exited by one of the of the strongest earthquakes of last decade (Japan, 2011), have been analyzed. The comparative analysis of FOS spectral composition observed by two instruments, and the comparison of theoretical (PREM model) and observed FOS modes (Northern Caucasus) were carried out.

MECHANICAL MEASUREMENTS

30-33 63
Abstract
The measuring transducer of electrical conductivity for laboratory conditions as well as for study of ocean processes (in natural conditions) has been described. The transducer was designed and manufactured as a separate unit for laboratory research and as a part of deep-water hydrological probe. Small-size transducer has a high temporal and spatial resolution illustrated by measurements in various processes and flows in fluid mechanics laboratory of IPM RAS.

THERMOPHYSIC MEASUREMENTS

34-38 61
Abstract
The results of the work on improving the State primary standard of thermal linear expansion coefficient unit (LTEC) carried oux at VNIIM in order to extend the temperature range from 1800 K to 3000 K. The composition of standard and the methods used to measure the elongation of studied samples are described, as well as its metrological characteristics and the improved system for the unit transfer from primary standard to operating measuring instruments.
38-42 69
Abstract
The new optoelectronic measuring system for high-temperature dilatometer to measure the thermal expansion of solid samples of materials within the wide temperature range 1000-3000 K is described. The new procedure of sample elongation measurement has been proposed with taking into account the system parameters correction during the measurement. The experimental results have been obtained.
43-47 83
Abstract
The long experience of calorimetry laboratory D. I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) as a provider of interlaboratory proficiency testing (IPT) of qualitative characteristics of coal and oil products (mazut) has been considered. The list of testing parameters for the samples of coal and mazut used in IPT was given. The procedure of preparation and delivery of the samples and the IPT program is described, and the algorithm of statistical processing of the measurement results is demonstrated.

ACOUSTIC MEASUREMENTS

47-49 98
Abstract
Ultrasound waves velocity in concrete structures measurement method is described. The velocity is measured without application of sample by means of supersonic phased antenna arrays. The signal processing is carried out by means of focusing on a plane algorithm, oriented on detection of reflecting planes. The velocimetry in concrete samples measurement results are presented.

Abstract
The technique of free-field measurements for the calibration of underwater sound transducers in reverberant laboratory water tank is described. The technique is based on the use of reverberant fields of noise and linearly frequency modulated signals in combined with the processing by method of complex moving weighted averaging. The results of testing the technique in the noise reverberant field of laboratory water tank are submitted.

Abstract
The procedure of measurement of equilibrium absolute adsorption of gases, in particular of natural gas - methane, at pressures up to 10 MPa is proposed. The installation for carrying out the measurements by volume method is described. Estimations of measurement errors are presented. On the basis of offered procedure the technique isotherms of methane adsorption on microporous carbon material AU-1SH in the ranges of pressure 10-7-10 MPa and temperatures 178-360 K are obtained.

Abstract
The design of the dynamic aerosol chambers based on photometric principle, created for measurement of particles concentration in aerosol, pulverized by atomizers of different preparates of solutions, is suggested. Test results allows apply that device on practice and to obtain the authentic data for testing the different types of sprays with small expenses of work and time.
