Abstract

Some facts from the history of building and developing the system of training of qualified metrologists is featured. The Centre has been preparing metrology specialists starting from post-graduate courses and company-based education. A system of facultative certification of metrology experts built by VNIIMS is described, which provides with receiving certification in 24 specialities.
