Abstract

The paper is devoted to the measuring of pitch and roll angles by means of compensation-type pendulous accelerometer with closed feedback. Three-component mathematical model of a single-axis accelerometer is developed for measuring pitch and roll angles. Mathematical model takes into account the impact of acceleration applied perpendicular to the sensitivity axis of accelerometer. Errors of mathematical model are investigated. Accelerometer calibration method is proposed along with algorithm of temperature compensation of its readings. Mathematical model is verified by accelerometer calibration results.
